Diagnostic Imaging: X-rays and Ultrasounds

At  Mission Veterinary we utilize diagnostic imaging including ultrasounds and X-rays, to gain invaluable insights into your pet’s internal health. Our advanced equipment allows us to examine various organs and systems, providing us with crucial information for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

X-rays:
Discover the inner health of your beloved pet with our advanced diagnostic X-ray imaging services. At Mission Veterinary we utilize state-of-the-art equipment to capture detailed images of your pet’s internal structures, aiding in the diagnosis of various conditions affecting their bones, heart, gastrointestinal system, and more. X-rays are preformed in-house by our trained staff.
Ultrasounds

Ultrasounds are conducted in-house by our experienced veterinarians or a certified ultrasonographer. Our mobile ultrasound machine enables us to assess basic functions and thoroughly examine the urinary system. For more intricate cases, we collaborate with Dr. Calin a board-certified radiologist. This arrangement ensures that your pet receives specialized care in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Why Sedation?

Sedation is often required during X-ray procedures to facilitate smoother imaging sessions. With sedation, we can capture multiple images swiftly while ensuring the safety and well-being of your pet. Sedation also helps alleviate stress in pets, resulting in clearer and more accurate scans. If your pet is calm, not in very much pain, and is able to lay in a comfortable position while the staff takes the image, sedation may not be needed.

At Mission Veterinary Hospital, we prioritize your pet’s health and comfort throughout the diagnostic imaging process. Our comprehensive services enable us to provide precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans, ensuring the best possible care for your cherished companion.
